On Saturday January 10th at the home boys basketball game against Mapleton the Black River Athletic Booster club will be sponsoring their first annual cake auction.  Each Pirate sports program will be responsible for making and decorating their own cake.  Each cake will then be walked around the gym individually and auctioned off to the crowd.  The proceeds for each cake will be split with that program and the booster club's bleacher fund that will be put towards new bleachers in the high school gymnasium.  The cake's will be auctioned off during halftime of both the JV and Varsity game as well as in between games.  Please plan to come and support your favorite Pirate sports program buy bidding on and potentially buying their cake. We will also be having our new scoreboard ceremony that night where we will be recognizing our sponsors for the new scoreboards. Come out and support Pirate athletics and root the Pirates on to a victory over the Mounties!  Go Pirates!!
