Tournament time is almost here for the Black River baseball and softball teams.  Sectional action will take place around the state next week.  The Lady Pirates will take part in the loaded Norwayne Sectional/District and came away with as good as a draw as they could have hoped for.  The Pirates who were seeded 8th will host the 9th seeded Canton Central Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday May 12th for the right to travel to 3rd seeded Manchester on Wednesday the 13th.  The Pirate baseball team will take part in the Copley Sectional/District and were seeded 6th in the 7 team western district and will travel to 5th seeded Lutheran West for a 1st round game on Thursday May 14th.  With a win over the Longhorns the Pirates will earn the right to take on #1 seed Elyria Catholic on Friday the 15th.  All baseball and softball tournament brackets can be found at www.ohsaa.org.
