The Pirates had a record night as they defeated Barberton on the road 21-25, 25-23, 25-13, and 25-23. Leading the Black and Gold as she achieved her 1,000th career assist was Erica Benson. Benson had 46 assists, 14 points, 4 aces, and 19 digs. The offensive triple threat of Seniors Louise DeMarco and Morgan Terry and Junior Paige Lutz combined for 43 of the teams 50 kills. Lutz had 18 kills and 3 blocks. DeMarco had 15 kills. Terry had 10 kills, 15 digs, and 6 points. Other top performances included Grace Spencer with 13 digs and 9 points, 3 aces. Hannah White added 10 digs, 6 points, and one ace. Frances Radway had 5 points. The Pirates improve to 10-7, 4-7 PAC. Black River finishes out non-conference play undefeated for our 2015 season. The team travels to Brookside  Tuesday.
