The Black River softball team took part in the annual Strikeout Cancer event held in Medina on Friday night and ended a strong season on a positive note with a 8-3 win over Brunswick. The Lady Pirates finish the season with a final record of 20-9.
The Black River softball team traveled to Oberlin on Wednesday night for their final PAC contest of the season and came away with a 4-1 win over the Phoenix. Bailey Scheck went the distance on the mound not giving up an earned run with 15 strikeouts.
